> Xtrax 1.9.2 (October 11, 1998) =========== Already revisions just 2 days after the release of 1.9.0. :P Just a couple small additions per request of some users... o New features: Handles 2 new file-extensions: .c01 (ACE) archive-sets where the first file is not .ACE (thanx Mongoloid) .777 archive type is now supported in decompression and compression. Added "Browse" buttons to locate WinZIP, "Other viewer", and the "Alert WAVs". o Bugfixes: Although not really a BUG, Xtrax was not ready to accept XtraView as a default viewer (the option-button for XtraView in Preferences was grayed-out) If XtraView is installed on your system, you will be able to select it as the default viewer via the Xtrax Preferences page. Mailto: ME! was pointing to an old email address on ABOUT and SPLASH screens - FIXED. o XtraView Note: XtraView is finished (thanx phanto^^) and ready to rock. Why did we code ANOTHER text viewer? Because no other text viewers displayed NFO/DIZ files the way we wanted them to by default. XtraView does it the way it should be done. It's also distributed as a separate proggy instead of being built-in to Xtrax so that we can make changes to it at will and you can download updated versions of it without having to download an entire new version of Xtrax. PERIOD. |
